Glen Chen

Glen Chen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the structuring, formation, and regulation of private investment funds, such as private equity, venture capital, and cryptocurrency funds. Currently serving as Counsel at Ropes & Gray LLP since June 2022, Glen previously held roles as a Corporate Associate at Paul Hastings, where responsibilities included advising on both onshore and offshore fund structures and regulations. Glen's earlier experience includes serving as Principal at NextSeed, focusing on crowdfunded debt offerings under the JOBS Act, and holding various associate positions at Paul Hastings and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, advising sponsors and institutional investors on fund formation and compliance matters. Glen Chen earned a J.D. from UCLA School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA.
