John Suggs

John Suggs is an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP in the Corporate General Practice Group, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets, and Intellectual Property Transactions since October 2022. Previously, John served as a summer associate at the same firm and held editorial responsibilities as a 2L Editor for the Review of Banking and Financial Law. John gained valuable experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV at the US Federal District Court and contributed to academic success as a peer tutor at The Learning Center at UNC-Chapel Hill and an undergraduate learning assistant under Dr. Rita Balaban. John holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
