Leonard Klingbaum

Leonard Klingbaum currently serves as Co-Head of the global Finance Practice Group and Partner at Ropes & Gray LLP, positions held since October 2019. Klingbaum also holds the title of Co-Head of the Capital Solutions & Private Credit Group. Prior to this role, Klingbaum was General Counsel for the Lower East Side Family Union from September 2005 to April 2021, providing pro bono legal services to the non-profit organization. Between October 2014 and October 2019, Klingbaum was a Partner and Chair of the Finance Practice Group at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Klingbaum’s earlier experience includes a partnership at Kirkland & Ellis LLP focused on corporate finance and distressed companies, and an associate position at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.
