William Shefelman

William Shefelman is an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP since October 2023, having previously served as a Summer Associate at the firm between May and July 2022. Prior experience includes working as an Honor Student in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as a Public Service Fellow in the Health Care Bureau of the Office of the New York State Attorney General. William also held the position of Research Assistant at the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law and served as a Staff Assistant in the Office of Representative Kathleen Rice in the U.S. House of Representatives. Academically, William earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health and Classics from The Johns Hopkins University.
