Simon Waters

Simon Waters has over 25 years of work experience in various leadership roles within the food industry. Simon began their career at Decathlon España as a Department Manager before joining Cargill España SLU as an Account Manager. Simon then moved to Cargill Netherlands as a Sales Manager for Vital Wheat Gluten. Simon returned to Cargill España SLU as a Regional Sales Manager for the Food & Pharma Specialties Business. Simon later joined Cargill Belgium as a Business Strategy & Process Advisor, where they led the design and implementation of key business processes and projects. Simon then became the General Manager of Functional Systems at Cargill España SLU, responsible for functional blends for the meat industry. Simon finally moved to Roquette in 2020 as the Head of Global Product Line Starches and Co-Products. Throughout their career, Simon has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in strategy development, P&L management, and team management.

Simon Waters completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at Esade from 1989 to 1994. Simon then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finanzas, general, also at Esade, from 1992 to 1994. Later, from 2004 to 2017, they attended Leadership Courses at Cargill to enhance their skills in Leadership and General Management.
