Building The Finops Future at RORA

Dan Hully is a finance professional with extensive experience in the evolving field of financial operations. Currently serving at RORA since November 2017, Dan focuses on modernizing accounting practices to better support innovative businesses. As a co-designer of the training program at the School of FinOps since January 2021, Dan aims to address the shortcomings of traditional accounting education. Previous experiences include a pivotal role at MyTutor.co.uk where Dan recognized the gap between formal qualifications and real-world startup finance needs after completing ACA exams at PwC, where foundational knowledge of accounting was acquired. Dan holds a degree in Modern European Languages and History from Durham University and further specialized in finance and technology with a professional qualification from FinOps Academy.
