Derek Kovach

Derek Kovach is an experienced sports instructor currently employed at the Lancaster Family YMCA Association since January 2018 and serves as a substitute teacher for Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 since September 2017. Previous roles include assistant groundskeeper for the Lancaster Barnstormers and sales associate at Dunham's Sporting Goods, where responsibilities encompassed register operations, merchandising, and inventory management. Derek also acted as a representative for the US Army All American Bowl selection tour, showcasing high school seniors exemplifying leadership and commitment to values. Additionally, experience as a summer camp counselor at West Chester Parks and Recreation was gained in 2016. Derek earned a teaching certificate from Eastern University and a degree from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
