Junaid Ali is a highly experienced professional in the field of bioprocessing and biotechnology, currently serving as Principal MSAT Scientist at RoslinCT since May 2022, following roles as Associate Principal MSAT Scientist and MSAT specialist. Prior experience includes work as a Process & Analytical Development Expert at Catalent Pharma Solutions, and a Senior Scientist at GOURMEY, where Junaid developed biotechnological processes and optimized fermentation conditions for stem cells. Junaid also contributed as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Aston University on a project aimed at scalable upstream bioprocessing for cultured meat production, and conducted research as a PhD student and affiliate researcher at Loughborough University and the University of Glasgow, respectively. Education includes a PhD from Loughborough University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology from Queen Margaret University.
