Osman T. has a extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Osman currently works as a Project Manager at Rosneft, focusing on oil spill preparedness and response. Prior to this, Osman was employed at bp for over two decades, where they held various roles related to crisis continuity management, emergency response, and oil spill management. Osman served as a Crisis Continuity Management and Emergency Response Manager, Oil Spill Lead Advisor, Oil Spill Advisor, Oil Spill Team Leader, and Oil Spill Response Lead. Osman also worked as an Exports Environmental Management System Lead, Group Environmental & Social Practices Implementation Manager, Regulatory Compliance and Environmental Team Leader, Senior Environmental & Social Advisor, Environmental Assurance Advisor, Environmental Advisor, and Field Environmental Advisor throughout their tenure at bp. Osman'sresponsibilities included managing environmental and social action plans, implementing regulatory compliance programs, ensuring compliance with ISO14001 standards, providing technical advice, and overseeing the construction of pipelines. Before joining bp, Osman worked as a Senior Security Guard.

Osman T. began their education in 1995 at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Energetics and Electromechanical Engineering in 1999.

In 2007, Osman acquired a certification in International Environmental Management from the British Safety Council.

From 2004 to 2007, Osman received additional certifications in Advanced Environmental Auditing from Moody International, Environmental Management System (EMS) Lead Auditor from ERM, and International certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management) from the Global Institute for Learning & Development.

In 2008, Osman gained a certification in Oil Spill Response Management from Oil Spill Response and East Asia Ltd.

In 2013, Osman obtained a certification in Oil Spill Response, IMO Level 2 from OSRL.

In 2016, Osman enrolled at the University of Derby, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management. Osman completed their studies in this field in 2018.

Most recently, in February 2019, Osman acquired certifications in ICS 100 and ICS 200 from FEMA.
