Chris Souther is an accomplished sustainability professional with extensive experience in leading energy and sustainability initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Director of Sustainability at Ross Stores, Inc., Chris previously held multiple roles at Target, including Lead Program Manager for Energy & Sustainability, where responsibilities encompassed onsite solar projects, vendor management, and financial reporting. Chris also spearheaded the electronics recycling program and developed waste minimization strategies in Canada, consistently achieving superior waste diversion rates. With an educational background that includes an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship and a B.S. in Ecology from the University of Minnesota, Chris demonstrates a strong commitment to leveraging sustainable practices in retail operations.
