Chris Welsh

Chris Welsh has a diverse work experience in the broadcast industry. Chris currently holds the position of DTE Systems Architect at Ross Video, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Specialist at TAG Video Systems from May 2021 to October 2021. From May 2020 to May 2021, Chris worked as a Broadcast Technician in Production Engineering at Rogers Media. Before that, they were a Broadcast Technology Specialist at Lawo North America from December 2019 to May 2020.

Chris has a significant history at Ross Video, where they held multiple roles. From March 2018 to October 2019, they served as a DTE Specialist. Chris also worked as a Senior Product Specialist from July 2015 to March 2018, a Technical Sales Specialist from January 2015 to July 2015, and a Product Specialist for Infrastructure Products & Video Servers from August 2013 to January 2015.

Earlier in their career, Chris worked in Broadcast Engineering at Shaw Media / Global Television from June 2012 to August 2013. Chris was also a Product Specialist for Infrastructure products at Ross Video from January 2011 to June 2012. Chris's experience at Global Television began in August 2005, where they worked as a National Broadcast Systems Technologist until January 2011.

In addition to their broadcast roles, Chris worked as a Technologist at Rohde & Schwarz from February 2005 to August 2005. Chris also has experience as a Freelance Audio Engineer from 1997 to 2004.

Chris Welsh attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2001 to 2004. During this time, they pursued a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology - Telecommunications, focusing on the field of Electronics. In April 2020, Chris obtained a Dante Certification Level 3 from Audinate.
