Peter Johnston

Peter Johnston has a wide range of experience in various leadership roles in product management and operations. Peter is currently serving as the Director of Product Management Operations at Ross Video, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Product Line Manager at TechInsights, specifically overseeing the Tech Library Family of products.

From 2014 to 2021, Peter held multiple positions at Irdeto, including Global Head of Products for Connected Transport and Director of Product Management for Studios and Advanced Solutions.

Before joining Irdeto, Peter gained extensive experience at TELUS Health and Financial Solutions as a Director of Product Management, where they had overall accountability for a healthcare IT business and managed a team of Senior Product Managers.

Prior to TELUS, they worked as a Product Marketing Manager at Curtiss Wright Controls from 2009 to 2011. Peter spent a significant portion of their career at Nortel Networks in various departments, where they held the role of Director of Product Management for almost two decades.

Earlier in their career, Peter was the Manager of Technology Development at Cantel Inc and a Software Designer at Northern Telecom.

Peter Johnston attended Queen's University from 1979 to 1983. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Applied Mathematics and Engineering with an Electrical Option.
