Robert Hubbard

Robert Hubbard has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Robert started their career at Norpak in 1996, where they worked as a Software Developer. During their time there, they gained expertise in embedded C and developed Norpak products, focusing on ancillary data in the broadcast video world. Robert also developed a Windows driver-based MPEG transport stream data encoder.

In 2010, Robert joined Ross Video. Robert initially worked as a Software Developer, where they developed products for the Opengear and TES product lines, becoming an expert in closed captioning. Robert also handled customer support and solved metadata-related problems.

In 2014, Robert transitioned to the role of Hardware Product Verification Manager at Ross Video. In this position, they managed a team of PV specialists responsible for testing the Ross Infrastructure product lines. Robert successfully transitioned the department from manual testing to a highly automated test group, optimizing product verification procedures and workflow to speed up time to market.

In 2017, Robert was promoted to Product Operations Manager at Ross Video. Robert further became the Software Manager in 2021 and is currently serving as the Product Operations Manager, responsible for the overall operations of Ross Video's products.

Robert Hubbard attended the University of New Brunswick from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc.Eng) with a specialization in Electrical Engineering.
