Nitesh Banta has an extensive work experience in various roles. Nitesh started as an Advisor & Founding Team Member at Getaround in 2009, where they worked with a team of Singularity U students to incubate Gettaround, the first person-to-person carsharing community. In 2010, they joined General Catalyst Partners as a VC, where they focused on investments in early-stage technology businesses. In 2012, they co-founded Rough Draft Ventures and became an investor in CoachUp, Handy HQ, and Bigcommerce. In 2013, they became an investor in Mark43. In 2014, they became an investor in Brainly. In 2015, they became an Angel Investor at Stellar Capital and Co-founder & CEO at B12.

Nitesh Banta holds a BA in Social Studies from Harvard University and a GSP from Singularity U in Finance, Entrepreneurship and Technology.
