Ellis Smith

Ellis Smith is a biomedical engineer with a robust background in patient-derived 3D oncology, currently serving as a Study Manager at RoukenBio. Previously, they worked as a Tissue Engineering Scientist at Carcinotech Ltd, leading projects to advance 3D printed tumor technologies. Ellis also contributed to sailing education as a Lead Dinghy Instructor and Dinghy Instructor at Clyde Cruising Club, where they fostered a supportive learning environment. They earned a Master’s degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and completed a Doctoral Candidate program at the University of Strathclyde with a focus on medical research.
