Gary Pohlmeier

Gary Pohlmeier began their work experience in 1995 as a Circulation Sales Representative at Sandhills Publishing. In this role, they sold magazine renewals by phone and direct mail, resolved customer service queries, and aided sales goals through their own collection efforts.

Gary then joined iUniverse in 1999 as a Publishing Services Associate. Their primary responsibilities included building relationships with authors, conveying specifications to production staff, monitoring book status, and communicating with multiple internal teams and managers. Gary also worked on publishing projects for Weekly Reader.

Since 2001, Gary has been working at Firespring. Gary started as a Client Success Specialist and later took on the role of Senior Client Success Specialist. In these positions, they performed various support duties, provided Tier 2 tech support, and acted as a lead for more challenging tech cases involving DNS/domains, email troubleshooting, SEO, and site management. Gary also trained and advised fellow support team members.
