John Shepherd

John Shepherd, MAGDJ, has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. John served as the Chief Financial Officer at Roundup Fellowship, Inc. starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations at GLOBE Charter School from 2021 to 2021. John also held the position of Director of Operations at Launch High School from 2016 to 2019. John has experience in finance and operations, having worked as the Director of Finance & Operations at Family Promise of Colorado Springs from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, they founded and served as the President of M25 Ventures, Inc. from 2011 to 2014, where they focused on teaching entrepreneurial skills to inmates and former addicts. John also has experience in business training, working as a Certified Instructor for the Nehemiah Project International Ministries, INC from 2011 to 2013. Moreover, they co-founded Shepherd's House Community, a reentry housing community, from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, John was the LifeChange Services Director at Union Gospel Mission, Portland, OR from 2008 to 2011, where they designed and implemented life-skills and vocational training programs. John also held the position of Finance Director at Pregnancy Resource Center from 2006 to 2008, where they managed financial and accounting activities. Earlier in their career, John founded and served as the CEO of Avalon Technology Group, Inc. from 1998 to 2004. John Shepherd, MAGDJ, has a Master of Arts in Global Development and Justice from Multnomah University, obtained from 2016 to 2018. John also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion/Missions from Multnomah University, earned from 1980 to 1984. In addition, they attended Ukarumpa High School in Papua New Guinea from 1976 to 1979. Furthermore, John Shepherd is also a Certified Instructor with Nehemiah Project International Ministries, which they obtained in October 2011.
