Mark J. Miller

Mark J. Miller has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Mark J. currently works at Route as a Technical Advisor to the CTO and Principle Software Engineer. In this position, they are responsible for driving distributed, scale-out design through leadership and defining engineering design and processes. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon as a Software Engineer.

Before joining Amazon, Mark worked as an Independent Software Consultant at DevelopMENTALmadness, where they provided architecture and performance consulting for databases and software. Mark J. also founded a company called Jobi Analytics, where they served as the Founder.

Mark has also held positions at inContact, GrubHub Seamless, Seamless.com, Reachable, Interbank FX, and LDS Church, where they gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Consultant, and Java Platform Engineer, among other roles. Mark J. has expertise in various technologies including C#, .NET, Java, Scala, Python, and AWS. In 1998, Mark enrolled in the School of Hard Knocks, where they pursued programming. Although it is unclear when they completed their studies, they obtained an incomplete degree in programming from this institution.

Additionally, in August 2016, Mark obtained a certification in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from the Coursera Course Certificates through an institution called Functional Programming Principles in Scala.
