Armin Schmidt has extensive experience in sales engineering and consulting, spanning over three decades in the technology sector. At Avaya, Armin served as Manager of Sales Engineering from December 2009 to October 2022, leading various local and international teams, and currently holds the position of Customer Solution Consultant with a focus on IT and Information Security since November 2022. Prior to Avaya, Armin managed the German Competence Center at Bay Networks and led the Enterprise Presales Group at Nortel Networks, which was acquired by Avaya. Armin began the career as a Systems Engineer at Sun Microsystems specializing in UNIX Systems and Networking Solutions. Armin obtained an education in engineering from Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen from 1982 to 1989.
