John Mitchell is currently the Supervisor of Infrastructure Services at Hydro Ottawa, where they design, build, and support voice and data network infrastructure. They have served as President of IAUG Canada since 2009 and as Vice President of the Ottawa Region Eastern Ontario Avaya Users Group since 2007, focusing on knowledge transfer for user group members. Prior to these roles, they worked at NSERC as a Help Desk PC Support specialist from 1990 to 1994. John Mitchell studied at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 1979 to 1981.
