Quentin Hocquet has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.
Starting in 2006, Quentin worked as a Student/Researcher at EPITA Research and Development laboratory until 2008.
In 2006, Quentin also started working at Gostai, where they held multiple roles over the years. Quentin worked as an Intern from September to December 2006, then became a Part-time R&D engineer in 2007. From 2008 to 2011, Quentin served as a Research and Development engineer, contributing to the development of the UrbiScript language interpreter. Additionally, they took on the role of System Administrator during this period.
In 2010, Quentin began working as a Freelance C++/Qt consultant and developer for Altribe, a role they held until March 2012.
In 2012, Quentin had multiple positions. Quentin founded Gruntech and worked as its Founder from May 2012 to April 2015. At the same time, they joined Aspectize as a C#/.net/Azure developer, responsible for designing and implementing a relational database interface.
After that, Quentin joined Infinit as their CTO, where they worked on a distributed, encrypted, and portable shared filesystem. Quentin was responsible for the project's global architecture, core parallelism and scheduling system, and system administration. Quentin worked at Infinit from February 2012 to October 2016.
Quentin then joined Docker, Inc in November 2016 as a Software Engineer. Docker had bought Infinit in 2016, and Quentin continued their work as the tech lead of the Infinit distributed storage platform, which became part of the Docker software suite. Quentin held this role until April 2019.
Since 2019, Quentin has been working as a Freelancer for Gruntech.
Most recently, in August 2020, Quentin started working as the Chief Technology Officer at Routine.
Quentin Hocquet pursued their education from 2003 to 2008 at EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique. During this period, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science.
