Joy Larson

Joy Larson is a retired educational administrator with extensive experience in special education and leadership within various school districts. Most recently, Joy served as the Director of Elementary Special Education for Boulder Valley School District from July 2017 to September 2023. Prior to that, Joy held roles as Coordinator for Thompson School District R2j and Director of Student Services and Elementary School Principal for Portage Community School District. Joy began a career in education as a Special Education Teacher at Palmyra-Eagle School District and continued in similar roles at Madison Metropolitan School District. Joy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and two Master's degrees in Educational Leadership and Administration from National Louis University. Currently, Joy is engaged with Rover.com since May 2023.
