Tom Bernardes

Tom Bernardes is a skilled artist with extensive experience in character design and concept art, currently serving as a Foundations Cohort Assistant at New Masters Academy since September 2024. Bernardes has held significant roles at Rovio Entertainment Corporation as both a Senior Character Designer and Senior Concept Artist since March 2020. Prior to this, Bernardes was the Lead Artist at Quickspin from January 2019 to March 2020, and Art Director at OnFire from October 2017 to October 2019, contributing to a notable short film. Additional experience includes work as a Concept Artist at Qvisten Animation AS in 2018 and as an Art Director at hype.cg, where Bernardes was involved in an animated series produced in collaboration with Nickelodeon. Bernardes started a career as a Senior Illustrator at Fescher from March 2011 to November 2015, after earning a Bachelor in Social Communication with a focus on Advertising from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul between 2008 and 2013.
