Maria Walker has a diverse work experience spanning different engineering roles and companies. Maria started their career as an Engineering Intern at Heinz Frozen Foods in 2013, where they performed cost analysis and redesigned machines using AutoCAD. In 2014, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Moen Incorporated, where they designed and modified parts using 3D software, performed stack-up analysis, and collaborated with suppliers. Maria continued their role as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Moen in 2014 as well, focusing on project coordination, standardizing work instructions, and calculating the true cost of processes. In 2015, Maria worked as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Moen, participating in new product development projects and managing cost-saving opportunities. From 2016 to 2020, they held various roles at Moen, including Associate Process Engineer, Process Engineer, and Project Manager. In these roles, they demonstrated skills in manufacturing processes, new product launches, technical support, and project management. Lastly, Maria is currently employed at RoviSys as a Systems Engineer II and has recently transitioned into the role of a Project Engineer I.

Maria Walker obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, they have obtained a number of certifications from LinkedIn, including "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues" in August 2020, "Project Management Foundations: Teams" in March 2020, "Managing Office Politics" in February 2020, "Project Management Foundations: Communication" in January 2020, and "Overcoming Procrastination" in August 2019.
