Systems Engineer II at RoviSys

Michael Wong has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they worked as a Systems Engineer I at RoviSys starting in January 2022. Prior to that, from March 2021 to January 2022, they served as a Data Analyst Consultant at Rick Teebay EV Consulting, where they planned the replacement of fossil fuel vehicles with electric vehicles for the City of San Diego's fleet. Michael also streamlined data entry processes through Visual Basic Excel Macros, reducing data entry time by 70% for future projects.

From October 2017 to February 2021, Michael worked as a Game Production and Tester at Red Fox Studios, contributing to the design of three released games on the Steam Store and identifying valuable player feedback and bugs through playtests.

In 2019, they held two positions. From September to December, they were an Industrial Engineering Coach at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, teaching engineering concepts and coaching students in Microsoft Excel functions and data analysis. From January to July, they led a facility design and material handling project at Revasum, overseeing the packaging development process for semiconductor grinding devices and restructuring the warehouse for optimal space utilization.

In 2018, Michael completed a student project focused on facility design at Hardy Diagnostics, applying Pareto Analysis and Rectilinear Mapping techniques to optimize warehouse space and inventory prioritization for Diagnostic Medical Devices.

Michael Wong obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Michael attended the university from 2013 to 2019.
