Nathan Esker

Project Engineer at RoviSys

Nathan Esker has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Nathan began their career at Worthy Engineering in 2014 as a Co-op/Project Support, where they authored plant maintenance procedures and collected information on new process equipment. From 2015 to 2017, Nathan worked as a Research Assistant at CEER, focusing on improving Li-Ion batteries, developing polymer membranes and electrodes, and characterizing products using GCMS. In 2017, Nathan joined RoviSys as a Systems Engineer, later transitioning to a Systems Engineer II role in 2019, and currently holds the position of Project Engineer as of May 2021. Additionally, they had a brief independent study experience at the Institute for Corrosion and Multiphase Technology in early 2017.

Nathan Esker attended Ohio University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemical Engineering: Materials. During their time at Ohio University, they also obtained additional certifications in various fields. In September 2016, they completed the Blood-Borne Pathogens Training at Ohio University. In September 2015, they completed the Chemical Hygiene Training, also at Ohio University. Additionally, in August 2015, Nathan obtained the SAChE (Safety and Chemical Engineering Education) Certificate Program - Basics of Laboratory Safety from the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
