William Courduff has a diverse range of work experience in the electrical field. William started their career as an Apprentice Electrician at Martifer Solar USA in 2010, where they gained experience in residential and commercial electrical systems and also worked on project management at Occidental College Project.
William then joined the Long Beach City College ROV Team in 2012, where they worked as a Parts Designer and Wiring specialist for two years, contributing to the design and wiring of underwater ROVs for MATE competitions.
Following this, William worked as an Electrician at various companies, including White Oak Solar, Solar Blue West, ESI Contracting, and Current Electric. At AJ Kirkwood & Associates, Inc., they served as a Journeyman electrician from 2017 to 2018.
Most recently, William worked as an Electrician at Hammerhead Energy Consulting from 2019 to 2022, where they served in this role until their current position at Courduff Electric, which they started in November 2022.
In 2022, they also held a position as an Electrical Engineer at RoviSys.
William Courduff pursued their education in the field of engineering. William began their studies at Long Beach City College from 2010 to 2014, without attaining a specific degree. Later, from 2018 to 2022, they enrolled in the College of Engineering at Cal Poly, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, William also obtained additional certifications. In July 2021, they completed the Trained Mentor program offered by Mentor Collective, and in August 2015, they obtained the General Journeyman Electrician (J) certification from the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards.
