Nigel Tan

Nigel Tan is an experienced project manager and technical professional in the subsea and oil and gas industries, currently serving as Project Manager (APAC) at ROVOP since January 2021. Nigel's extensive background includes roles such as Technical Sales Manager at Ashtead Technology (2016-2020), ROV Senior Project Engineer at Technip Malaysia (2013-2016), and Regional Lead Rental Asset Coordinator at FMC Technologies (2011-2013). Nigel began the career as ROV Coordinator at Subsea Robotics Services (2008-2011) and customer support technical at Eurocopter South East Asia (2007-2008). Early experience included serving as a Senior Technician in the Singapore Armed Forces Air Force (1997-2007). Nigel holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic, and GCE 'O' Level from Serangoon Garden Technical School.
