Gregory Daly

Gregory Daly is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Rowden since April 2025, previously serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Dyson from September 2023 to April 2025. At Dyson, Gregory led the development of a computer vision platform for edge devices and mobile platforms, focusing on automated data labeling and MLOps practices. Prior experience includes leading a data-driven innovation team at Oxford Instruments, managing a group dedicated to AI and machine learning product development. Gregory also has a background in deep learning applications for semiconductor manufacturing and holds a Doctor of Engineering degree from the University of Exeter, where research focused on deep learning and plasma physics. Additional experience spans roles in technical analysis, e-commerce management, and officer training with the Royal Navy.
