Luke Rank

Luke Rank is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the defense aerospace sector, currently serving as the FCAS/GCAP Head of Future Engineering Programmes at MBDA since November 2016. In this role, Luke is responsible for defining future engineering activities and ensuring international alignment for the Future Combat Air System/Global Combat Air Programme, while also articulating product strategies and leading international collaborations. Previously, Luke held several key positions at MBDA, including overseeing weapon integration transformations and strategic analysis for Europe and the Americas. Before joining MBDA, Luke gained valuable experience as a Project Manager at Atkins and completed an internship at Airbus Group, developing skills in project management, systems engineering, and algorithm design. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering from Loughborough University and an MBA in Defence Export from Cranfield University.
