Amanda Rubio is a dedicated journalism student at the University of Florida, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with an expected graduation date of May 2026. Currently serving as Secretary for the Florida Magazine Student Association, Amanda manages administrative tasks and meeting coordination. Amanda also holds positions as Online Editor and Online Writer for Rowdy Magazine, focusing on politics and culture articles. In the Phi Mu Fraternity, Amanda acts as the Corresponding Secretary, supporting the secretary in managing attendance and documentation. Previous experience includes an editorial internship with NBCUniversal, a staff writing role at The Independent Florida Alligator covering local arts and culture, and assisting in philanthropy efforts through Once Upon a Room.
