Robert Thelen

Robert Thelen has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as CEO and Co-Founder of Rownd in 2020. Prior to this, they were a Senior Product Manager at IBM from 2016-2017, an Adjunct Professor at Durham Technical Community College in 2017, Co-Founder and CEO of Eclipse for a Cause in 2017, Co-Founder and CEO of FliQ - Connect, Faster from 2014-2015, a Sales Operations, Transformation, and Planning MBA Intern at Google in 2015, a Portfolio Execution Group Chief and Program Manager at the United States Air Force from 2011-2007, and a Combat Advisor at the NATO Training Mission - Afghanistan in 2010. Robert also held the role of Flight Commander and Aircraft Maintenance Unit Assistant Officer in Charge at the United States Air Force from 2007-2004, and Co-Founder and Managing Editor of the Mendota Beacon in 2004.

Robert Thelen has a varied educational background. Robert is currently enrolled in Y Combinator. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth between 2014 and 2016, with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General. Robert also obtained a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma between 2009 and 2010. Robert obtained their BBA in Management and Human Resources from the Wisconsin School of Business between 2002 and 2006. Robert also holds a Level 1 Program Management certification from the Defense Aquisition University.
