Daniela Freitas Santos

Daniela Freitas Santos has worked in the software engineering and technical pre sales support industry since 1996. Her most recent role is Senior Engineering Manager at Rows, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to that, they were Senior Delivery Manager at Paddy Power Betfair from 2016. From 2007 to 2016, they were R&D Portugal Area Leader and R&D Line Manager at Nokia Networks, where they were responsible for leading a Mobile Broadband CEM&OSS R&D team and interfacing with different stakeholders. From 1999 to 2007, they were R&D Team Leader and Project Manager and Software Engineering and Technical pre sales support at SIEMENS, S.A., Information and Communications. Her duties included software analysis and development for TMN systems, using Mobile Agents technology and Java. From 1998 to 1999, they were Software Development at EFACEC, Electronic Systems, where they developed a Remote Communications Simulator in Visual C++ and performed software analysis and development for remote communications in SCADA/DMS distributed systems. Her first role was Software Development and after sales support at Milénio3, Electronic Systems, from 1996 to 1998.

Daniela Freitas Santos obtained a Licentiate's degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in 1996, focusing on Automation, Control and Instrumentation. Daniela then went on to earn a Master's degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering from the same institution in 2000, with a focus on Industrial Computer Science. In 2011, they were awarded a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
