Darren Vogel has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Business Development Manager at RealNetworks EMEA (formerly WiderThan), where they achieved success by winning Vodafone Global's RBT and Full Track Music business. Darren was then headhunted to join Accenture Digital Media Services as a Business Development Director, responsible for EMEA territories and creating a successful Business Development Strategy.
In 2011, Darren became involved with the Open IPTV Forum, initially serving as the Chairman of the Marketing Committee and later becoming the Marketing Director, Committee Chairman. Darren played a key role in rebranding the organization and attracting new members.
From 2014 to 2017, Darren served as a Director, Board Member, and Rear Commodore (House) at the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club in Guernsey.
Darren's entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding The Electric Jukebox Company in 2014 and launching the Electric Jukebox (now ROXi) concept, as well as working on stealth mode projects at AAA Media starting in 2018.
Darren also had roles at Eternity Capital ltd, Whitespace Ventures Ltd, and Guernsey Festival of Covid-Safe Comedy 2020/21. At Eternity Capital, they worked as a Channel Islands representative, while at Whitespace Ventures, they were a Venture Partner focusing on IoT, Deep Science, and Corporate Spin outs. As a Promoter at the Guernsey Festival of Covid-Safe Comedy, they partnered with leading UK Comedy clubs and local organizations to bring comedy talents to Guernsey despite the global pandemic.
Throughout their career, Darren has demonstrated their expertise in business development, marketing, and entrepreneurship, with a strong focus on the digital media industry.
Darren Vogel attended Bournemouth University from 1993 to 1997. Darren pursued a BA(hons) degree in Multi-Media Journalism, with a special interest in Radio, TV, Online Production, Management, and Marketing.
