Luis Ávila

Luis Ávila has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. In 2016, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at AudioMate, Inc., where they developed a stateless backend and contributed to the development of an audio player. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Chief Information Officer at Limpa-m'isto, where they designed the MongoDB schema and implemented a stateless backend. In 2017, they joined Instituto Superior Técnico as a Full Stack Developer, supporting and developing custom WordPress plugins and implementing CI/CD. In 2019, Luis joined blow LTD as a Full Stack Developer and Backend Developer, working on microservices and participating in a database restructure. Currently, they are the Head of Catalogue at ROXi, a position they have held since 2022.

Luis Ávila completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico from 2015 to 2019.
