David Tanner

David Tanner has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career as a Technical Procurement at MAYER & CO BESCHLÄGE GMBH (MACO) from September 2010 to May 2011. Subsequently, they worked as a Research Project Assistant at Energy Institute - Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria for six months from July 2015 to December 2015. David then joined the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) as a Student Employee from October 2013 to February 2017. David worked as a Project Manager at 3F Solar Technologies GmbH - Renewable Energy from March 2014 to March 2017. Starting from July 2017, they joined RP Global and held various roles in Business Development and Sustainability, including Junior Business Development, Business Development & Sustainability, Business Development & Sustainability Manager, and Senior Business Development Manager. Most recently, they served as the Director of Business Development from September 2022 to October 2023 and is currently the Group Head of Development since May 2023.

David Tanner has a diverse education history. David obtained their Matura mit Gesellenprüfung Mechatronik from Werkschulheim Felbertal from 2001 to 2010. David then pursued a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Environment and Bio-Resources Management from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they participated in an Erasmus program at KU Leuven, where they studied Bio-Engineering for a year. In 2018, David attended the University of Groningen to study Land Acquisition, Resettlement, and Social Sustainability. David also completed a Power Purchase Agreement program at PPA Academy - Pexapark in the same year. Additionally, in 2020, David studied Energy Transition - Battery Storage at EIT InnoEnergy. David has acquired several certifications, including Certified Project Management Associate IPMA Level D from IPMA: International Project Management Association in 2021, The role of green hydrogen in reaching zero emissions from the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in 2020, Energy Transition - Battery Storage from EIT InnoEnergy in 2020, and a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Academy Certificate of Completion from Pexapark in 2018. David also holds a certification as a Behördlich anerkannter Abfallbeauftragter lt. §11 AWG 2002 from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU).
