John Murphy

John Murphy has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. John started their career at PRO Unlimited as a Consultant, providing frontline support for Goldman Sachs Program Trading technology. John then joined Goldman Sachs as a Vice President, where they worked for eight years. Currently, they are the Director/Software Engineer at RQD* Clearing, a next-generation correspondent clearing provider that offers advanced clearing, custody, and execution solutions.

John Murphy is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Machine Learning at the Georgia Institute of Technology, with an expected completion date of May 2025. Prior to their current program, they attended Haverford College, where they focused on Religion/Religious Studies. Additionally, they studied Computer Science at Rutgers University. Furthermore, John has obtained the Series 63 certification from FINRA in September 2021.
