Daniel Schaffhauser

Daniel Schaffhauser has an extensive work experience. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Registration Office Clerk at Novartis. In 2008, they were an IT Consultant Intern at zeb/rolfes.schierenbeck.associates, where they were involved in the development and deployment of client software for the Avaloq banking system. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at ETH Zurich as a PhD candidate and at ETH Space Biology as a System Engineer & Research Scientist. During this period, they also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Zurich and as a Visiting Senior Researcher at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. In 2013, they were a Research Associate at ETH Zurich, a Project Assistant Professor at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and a Co-founder & CTO at rqmicro.

Daniel Schaffhauser obtained their Dr. sc. ETH from ETH Zürich in 2012, majoring in Bioanalytics. Daniel also obtained their MSc from the University of Basel in 2007, majoring in Nanosciences.
