William Becker

William Becker has significant experience in the field of robotics. William is currently serving as the Chairman of the Advisory Board for Education Programs in Robotics at the University of Maryland Robotics Center. Prior to this, they were a Principal Engineer at Robotic Research. William also served as a Board Member on the Advisory Board for Education Programs in Robotics at the University of Maryland, College Park. Before their roles in academia, they worked as an Engineering Specialist (Mechanical) at General Dynamics Robotic Systems. William's early experience includes being a Research Assistant at MIT and an Engineering Intern at NIST.

William Becker earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in the years 1999 to 2004. William continued their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2004 to 2006.
