Sheila Rutt is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at RR Donnelley. Sheila has been with the company since January 2017, and in their current role, they are responsible for executive HR leadership for all global HR operations and corporate communications.

Prior to joining RR Donnelley, Sheila worked for a number of different companies in a variety of HR roles. Sheila has extensive experience in developing and implementing functional and segment platform talent strategies, as well as establishing and implementing high-impact HR processes.

Under Sheila's leadership, RR Donnelley has seen a positive impact on a number of key talent metrics, including productivity, diversity, succession, retention, and employee engagement. Additionally, they have helped to implement a number of Global Training Counsels which have better leveraged global training resources across four key impact areas: learning culture, e-learning, leadership development, and sales effectiveness.

Sheila Rutt began their educational career with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The College of Wooster. Sheila then went on to earn a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The University of Akron. After working in the field for several years, they decided to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General from Walsh University. Most recently, they completed a certification from the University of Michigan in Global Executive Human Resources Program.

Their manager is Thomas J. Quinlan, III, President & CEO. They are on a team with Elif Sagsen-Ercel - Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, Glynn Perry - Executive Vice President, Domestic Operations and Chief Supply Chain Officer, and Dave Houck - EVP & CIO.
