Robert Liedka

Robert Liedka has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Robert currently works as a Software Engineer III at Rapid Response Monitoring since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Rapid Response Monitoring as an Application Developer from June 2020 to July 2022.

Before joining Rapid Response Monitoring, Robert worked at Quality Vision International (QVI®) as a Software Developer. During their time there from August 2019 to June 2020, they were part of the utility software team, where they wrote and updated machine calibration procedures. Robert also helped integrate a new product into the existing calibration tool and collaborated with various engineering departments to improve calibration techniques and reduce calibration time and user interaction. Robert had also completed a Software Developer Internship at the same company from January 2019 to August 2019.

Robert gained experience in the food retail industry at Wegmans Food Markets, where they worked in the prepared foods department from June 2014 to August 2019.

Robert also had the opportunity to work as a Software Engineer Intern at Rochester Institute of Technology on the Interactive Video Vignette (IVV) team, from May 2018 to December 2018. The project was sponsored by the NSF and focused on developing web-based learning platforms for teachers and professors to design interactive web content for student enrichment.

Additionally, Robert had a Software Engineer Internship at Architecture Technology Corporation from July 2017 to August 2018. During this time, they worked on a large product, primarily focusing on back-end PHP and Python development. Robert also conducted extensive research on computer security best practices, particularly in pen-testing, server configuration, and cyber threat mitigation. Robert created instructionals to disseminate this knowledge and promote application of these practices.
