Matthew Darmanin

Matthew Darmanin is an accomplished Application Developer at RS2 since January 2021, specializing in Back-end development within the Payments industry, particularly in Back-office and Data Warehousing teams. Matthew's current technical expertise includes Java (Spring Boot, Microservices, Akka), SQL (Oracle, PL-SQL), GraphQL, Docker, CI/CD, and Python. Prior experience includes serving as a Process Engineer at STMicroelectronics from December 2019 to December 2020, focusing on Wafer Preparation and quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, Matthew interned at University of Malta Racing, where responsibilities included 3D part generation and research on internal combustion engines. Matthew is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at Idea College, having previously obtained degrees in Mechanical Engineering and web development from the University of Malta and ICE Malta, respectively.
