Peter Edgar

Peter Edgar is an experienced leader in claims operations with a career spanning over two decades in the insurance industry. Since January 2012, Peter has held multiple senior roles at RSA, currently serving as the Head of Motor Claims Operations, managing a team of approximately 300 across six sites. Peter previously led the UK Injury Claims division at RSA, overseeing over 300 claims professionals in handling various injury claims. Prior to RSA, Peter worked at AIG from 1998 to 2011, where responsibilities included managing the UK Casualty Claims team and addressing complex injuries. Peter's career began as a claims handler at NFU Mutual from 1995 to 1998. Educational background includes attendance at Lakes School in Windermere from 1981 to 1988.
