Shofi Islam is an accomplished Programme Data Architect at RSA, with experience since 2018 in supporting the Accelerator programme through the delivery of proofs of concept and updating engagement frameworks for Data Artefacts. Previously, Shofi served as a Divisional Data Architect at Allianz Insurance from 2015 to 2018, where the first Big Data project was implemented in collaboration with Allianz Germany’s Data Science centre. Prior roles include Enterprise Data Architect at SSE plc from 2005 to 2015, overseeing a team of 12 and managing Business Intelligence development, and various positions at Safeway as a Senior Analyst Programmer. Shofi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Electronics, and OptoElectronics from the University of Sussex, obtained in 1999.
