Mathias Declercq

Mathias Declercq is an experienced press manager currently serving at RSC Anderlecht since July 2021. Prior to this role, Mathias held multiple positions at BRUZZ - Vlaams-Brusselse Media from April 2016 to July 2021, including Redactiechef, Nieuwsmanager, and journalist, specializing in written journalism. Additionally, Mathias was a professional musician with Freaky Age from January 2006 to September 2019, during which the band gained prominence in the Belgian music scene and released four studio albums. Previous experience includes working as a Communication Coordinator at Bonnefooi from January 2015 to March 2016 and a brief internship at De Morgen in mid-2014. Mathias holds two master's degrees from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, one in Journalism (2013-2014) and another in English and Spanish Language and Literature (2009-2013), and completed secondary education with a diploma in Latin-Modern Languages from Sint-Jozefsinstituut.
