Alan Ross has extensive experience in the engineering and fabrication industry, beginning with an apprenticeship at Brown and Root Fabricators (BARMAC) from August 1991 to July 2000, where responsibilities included producing structural and piping fabrication drawings for various projects in the North Sea oil and gas sector. Following this, Alan held positions at several companies, including a Draughtsman role at MacGregor Energy Services and as a Draughtsman/Checker at RBG Limited, focusing on drawing and checking fabrication drawings along with material coordination. At Isleburn Ltd, Alan advanced to Draughtsman/Project Engineer, working on multi-million pound contracts. From December 2010 to November 2023, Alan served as Lead Draughtsman at Global Energy Group, managing drafting teams and liaising with clients. Currently, Alan holds the position of Fabrication CAD Manager at RSE since April 2024. Alan's educational background includes an HNC in Welding and Fabrication Technology obtained from Inverness College between 1991 and 1995.
