Melisa Peterson

Melisa Peterson has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Melisa is currently the VP of Product Management and Business Analytics at Knowtion Health, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the SVP of Hospital Solutions at RSource - Healthcare Receivables Management from May 2021 to July 2022. From November 2018 to May 2021, Melisa worked as the Director of Commercial AR at Houston Methodist. Before that, they had various roles at UHS, including Assistant Director, Revenue Cycle Operations Manager, Collections Manager, Payment Analysis Team Lead, and Refunds Analyst. Melisa'scareer in the healthcare industry began at HCA, where they worked as an Agency and Charity Representative and later as an NPAS Agency Representative.

Melisa Peterson attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management. In 2007, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Professional Coder from the American Academy of Professional Coders. Additionally, Melisa holds a CPC certification from the AAPC.
