Alex Try

Alex Try is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and public affairs. Currently serving as Director of Strategic Communications at RSPB since November 2019, Alex has also held leadership roles in integrated communications and PR within the organization. Prior to RSPB, Alex worked as a self-employed Strategic Communications Consultant, advising growing companies on storytelling and reputation management. Experience includes a role as Director of Communications and Culture at the London Borough of Waltham Forest, as well as significant tenures at Teneo Blue Rubicon and Interns Anonymous, where Alex co-founded a movement addressing the issue of unpaid internships. Alex holds a BA in History from The University of Manchester.
