Dave Timms is an experienced campaign leader with a strong background in political and tactical campaigns. Currently serving as the Head of Political and Tactical Campaigns at RSPB since January 2024, Timms previously held various roles at Friends of the Earth, including Head of Political Affairs and Campaign Lead for The Bee Cause from December 2014 to December 2023. Additional roles include Head of Campaigns and Communications, and Acting Executive Director at 10:10 from July 2013 to December 2014, and Climate and Energy Campaigner at Friends of the Earth from September 2006 to July 2013. Timms started career as a Senior Press Officer at Global Justice Now from May 2000 to August 2006 and is an alumnus of The University of Manchester.
