David Rees

David Rees is a Director and Principal Ecologist at Glas Ecology, a company they founded in 2011. With over 20 years of experience in conservation and ecological consultancy, David has held significant roles such as Senior Conservation Officer in the North Wales Moors and Site Manager for a 270 ha wetland nature reserve with RSPB. They previously served as a Senior Project Ecologist with Fehily Timoney & Co. and Project Ecologist with Tobin Engineers, where they contributed to a range of ecological fieldwork and studies. David is a full member of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and holds a BSc (Hons) in Zoology from The University of Reading and a Postgraduate Diploma in Conservation Management from Otley College, Suffolk.
